Ms. Jeroo J. Daly was born in Singapore. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (B.A. Hons) and a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B) from the University of Bombay, India. Ms. Daly went on to complete a Masters of Law Degree (LL.M) in International Law and Corporate Law and carried out two years of research on her thesis towards an LL.D (Doctorate of Law) at University College, University of London, U.K. She is presently near completion of a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed.) at City University, CUNY.

Ms. Daly worked as an attorney in the field of aviation and products law liability in London, and practiced corporate law in Singapore. Her interest in international legal and political issues brought her to New York City where she worked for several years as a Political Researcher/Speechwriter for Diplomatic Missions to the United Nations, New York, N.Y.

In her second year as a Special Education teacher at Henry Street School for International Studies (HSSIS), she is committed to instilling in her middle and high school students knowledge of global studies and skills in line with the mission statement of the HSSIS. She provides her students additional instruction in areas documented in their Individual Education Plans [IEPs].

Ms. Daly is married and is the mother of two children, aged 13 and 11 years.
